Good Riddance (A Poem)

Good Riddance (A Poem)

Let it go, let it go

Is not just from a kid’s show

It’s the full moon in Scorpio

Or a lunar eclipse in anything

The flashlight in the night

Reveals what’s been hidden

But was always there

To be escorted away with care

Like a carefully executed asbestos removal

Water tends to clean things

Fire burns it off

The wind disperses it

The point is to learn the lesson

Thank the teacher

Move forward

And never look back
